Bachelor’s degree programmes

Master’s degree programmes

  • Application period: 7 Dec 2023 – 17 Jan 2024
  • The studies will start in autumn 2024.

Admission process:

Please check each programme website for the exact description on the admissions process, as your desired programme may use one or several of the following:

Bachelor’s degrees

  • Pre-task submitted with application + online interview of top candidates
  • UAS Exam (please note the language test and passport requirements for 2024!)
  • SAT test results (instiutution code 6960, must be delivered by 1 April 2024)

New in 2024!

UAS Exam participation requires 1) language proficiency test and 2) biometric passport

English language test results:

  • IELTS Academic: a minimum total score of 6.0 (Test sections: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
  • TOEFL Academic (iBT): a minimum total score of 60 (Test sections: Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing)
  • PTE Academic: a minimum total score of 55 (Test sections: Speaking and Writing, Reading, and Listening)
  • Cambridge C1 Advanced: a minimum total score of 169 (Test sections: Reading and Use of English, Writing, Listening, and Speaking)
  • Cambridge C2 Proficiency: a minimum total score of 169 (Test sections: Reading and Use of English, Writing, Listening, and Speaking)

Passport requirements:

  • A biometric passport (ICAO 9303 standard compliant)
  • A biometric EU/EEA identification card (ICAO 9303 standard compliant)

The passport/identification card has to comply with the ICAO 9303 standard. Other passports/identification cards are not accepted. All ICAO compliant documents carry the following logo. The logo is located outside of the front cover of the biometric passport or on the front or back cover of the biometric identification card.

Financing your studies

Tuition fees

All degrees programmes at TAMK carry an annual tuition fee of 12 000 EUR per academic year. The fee is paid in two installments annually:

  • 1st installment when accepting the study place or when registering for attendance in the following years (dates given in offer letter / student guide)
  • 2nd installment due 31 August after scholarship waiver consideration (can be covered fully or partially by awarded scholarship waivers)

Scholarships

All TAMK scholarships are given as waivers of upcoming tuition fee payments.

Bachelor’s degrees:

  • Year 1: Early Bird 50% waiver
  • Years 2-4: Academic Award 25% waiver for credit accumulation of min. 60 credits/academic year (cumulative) + 25% waiver for Finnish language test progress

Master’s degrees:

  • Year 1: Early Bird 20% waiver
  • Year 2 (90 credits programmes only): Academic Award 25% waiver for 45 credits completed, Academic Award 50% waiver for 60 credits completed
